Faduri Oluwadare Joseph(FADOJOE): Buhari May Have Died, But Many Buharis Still Live Among Us; What Nigerians Must Do to Rescue the Nation in 2027

Faduri Oluwadare Joseph(FADOJOE): Buhari May Have Died, But Many Buharis Still Live Among Us; What Nigerians Must Do to Rescue the Nation in 2027

To all my fellow younger generation.

I saw many reactions to the moment Buhari died. Everyone has the right to their reactions. Every Nigerian who had the opportunity, who saw Buhari as Head of State to a civilian President, has the right to react. Buhari has died, but the havoc, pain, hunger, and poverty that he left behind cannot be forgotten in a hurry.

Some of us who want to become Nigeria’s leaders tomorrow may not be ranting online, speaking against his personality, or talking negatively about him at his death, but that can’t erase the so much havoc he committed when he was alive and doesn’t mean what he did must not be talked about, every Nigerian has the right to hold their opinions.

People have the right to speak, to rant, to express the pains that are in their hearts caused by Buhari. Forever, so many people, whose loved ones have been kidnapped, killed, must express their feelings, there are so many people whose loved ones have been killed, so many people are abroad today because of the bad governance of the likes of Buhari, and the likes of them who are in coalition or preaching coalition today, and the likes of them who are still in government today stealing our money.

But my challenge to Nigerians, my challenge to our younger generation is that all these leaders have destroyed our nation, we must wake up, the death of Buhari should not only make us rant and leave it like that, we are at a point where we need to fully register to vote, we need to be well involved in the next election, coming in 2027, and not give the power again to the older generation, anyone above 60-65 should go and sit down and let the power come to the younger generation, the younger generation has been the ones suffering most in Nigeria.

Let people in their 60s and below, who have felt the agony and pains, who have seen it all, let them be the ones who will take the mantle of leadership in Nigeria, That’s why I’m coming to say, we are coming to rescue our nation, and I’m going to lead that rescue.

I’m calling on all Nigerian youth to let us come together, it’s not going to be by money, because we can’t beat them by money, neither by dollars for dollars or by pounds for pounds, no, they are fully loaded with our money they have stolen, but we can beat them by the power we have, which is the power of voting and participating fully in the electioneering process.

We have protested for many years, but with no positive effects. It’s enough, we have been protesting, but let the next protest be at the ballot. Let our next protest be our vote, that’s how we are going to change the course, the course of our nation.

Let the death of Buhari and the sickness of his calibres that are still alive empower us to say, enough is enough. In 2027, we are going to do everything possible to vote out all these underperforming and corrupt people in government.

Let us not just rant, because after ranting, we may still go and vote for their set of underperforming people that are still alive, buhari could have died today, but people of their calibre are still alive today, some in power while some of them are still fighting for power.

If you are ranting about Buhari and supporting one of them, that shows you are not different.

Nigerians must chart a new course in 2027. New course. New people. New foundation. People like us, with younger people’s interests at heart, who have not taken a penny illegally from any government, or bribed to collect any contract in Nigeria.

To rescue our country from suffering, hardship, insecurity, bandits, corruption, and other social ills should be our message for now.

Someday, very soon, if we believe, and we are ready to commit ourselves, we will have a new Nigeria that we will all be proud of.

Open Letter to His Excellency President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR from Rescue Movement Delta State Chapter

Open Letter to His Excellency President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR from Rescue Movement Delta State Chapter

Subject: Urgent Attention Needed for Benin-Warri Road Rehabilitation Project

Dear Mr. President,

I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to bring to your attention the deplorable state of the Benin-Warri Road, a critical infrastructure project that has been under rehabilitation for some time. As you may be aware, this road is a vital conduit for trade and commerce, connecting key economic hubs in Benin City and Warri.

The current state of the road is a nightmare for road users, causing significant delays, damage to vehicles, and loss of lives. Despite the efforts of contractors, the project has been plagued by delays and non-performance. I humbly appeal to your Excellency to intervene in this matter and ensure that the contractors are well-mobilized to deliver the project within the contract duration.

Key Benefits of the Benin-Warri Road:

  • Promotes trade and commerce between Benin City and Warri
  • Connects key economic hubs, facilitating the movement of workers and supplies
  • Supports daily life and travel for employment, education, healthcare, and other personal needs
  • Enhances regional integration and economic cohesion
  • Holds historical significance, connecting two important cultural hubs

Progress Report:

The project has seen some progress, with the Edo State Government assuming responsibility for a 23km stretch of the road. However, more needs to be done to complete the project and alleviate the suffering of road users.

Our Appeal:

  1. We humbly request that the contractors handling the Benin-Warri Road be well-mobilized to enable them to deliver the project within the contract duration.
  2. We appeal to your Excellency to direct the contractors to open up sections of the road that have been completed to ease vehicular movement and transportation of goods.

Conclusion:

We sincerely appreciate your attention to this matter and hope that your prompt intervention will avert the continued loss of lives, damage to properties, and wastage of manhours. We look forward to your delivery on your campaign promises of improved infrastructure development.

Thank you, Mr. President.

Sincerely,

Comrade John Ebikeme Odubolu

Northern APC Forum Backs Kailani Muhammad as National Chairman

Northern APC Forum Backs Kailani Muhammad as National Chairman

The Northern APC Grassroots Advocacy and Mobilisation Forum has thrown its weight behind Professor Kailani Muhammad, urging the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to elect him as the party’s next National Chairman.

Speaking at a press conference, the group—which boasts membership across the 19 Northern states—described Professor Muhammad as a loyal party stalwart and a grassroots mobilizer with an unbroken history of commitment to the APC and its antecedents.

The Chairman of the Forum noted that Professor Muhammad was a pioneer member of the All People’s Party (APP), which later became the All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP), then merged into the Congress for Progressive Change (CPC), and eventually formed part of the coalition that birthed the APC.

“He has never left the party or wavered in his commitment,” the Forum leader said. “Professor Kailani is the most experienced and capable among all aspirants for the chairmanship. He has proven his leadership capacity, especially as National Chairman of APC Support Groups during the 2023 elections, which played a critical role in delivering victory for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.”

Describing him as “result-oriented and deeply rooted at the grassroots,” the Forum emphasized that although Professor Muhammad has never held public office, he has built a broad network of loyal supporters and political allies across the 36 states of the federation.

“He has the will, capacity, and charisma to unite the party, galvanize support, and position APC for another victory in 2027,” the Forum asserted.

The group urged President Tinubu and the APC leadership to consider his emergence as National Chairman, stressing that his loyalty, long-standing service to the party, and ability to mobilize support nationwide make him the most qualified candidate for the position.

AIT Weekend Show: Faduri Oluwadare Speaks on 2027 Elections and the recent Selfish Coalition of politicians in ADC

AIT Weekend Show: Faduri Oluwadare Speaks on 2027 Elections and the recent Selfish Coalition of politicians in ADC

On Saturday, July 5, 2025, Faduri Oluwadare Joseph, a former Labour Party presidential aspirant and the founder of the Global Rescue Movement for New Nigeria, joined the AIT Weekend Show virtually.

The program, titled 2027 Election and Present Realities, was anchored by Andy Madaki and Tender Chemielu. The discussion revolved around the dynamics of the upcoming 2027 general elections, recent political coalition, and the mood of the Nigerian electorate.

Faduri Oluwadare began his remarks by commending the vibrant youth in the studio, particularly the National Youth Leader of the Labour Party, whom he applauded for presenting empirical facts during the discussion.

Addressing the recent coalition of politicians aligning with the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Faduri expressed strong reservations about the motives behind such political movements. He stated:

“When you look about the antecedents of people coming together to form coalition, they are not coming together because they care for Nigeria, they are not coming together because it’s now they realize we are in wrong path, these are people that we known well, that they were the people that brought Nigeria to the mess, where President Bola Tinubu picked it up and destroy it more. So if a man has a good principle and an ideology, he doesn’t need to sit with them, nor join them nor do things with them. I said a month ago that the 2027 election is going to be an election about the selfish politician and the people. Even when there is no good thing coming from the APC, we still have politicians defecting to the APC. They can defect as they want, the 2027 election will be decided by 200 million Nigerians, not those minorities playing politics up and down by defecting. Nigerians are aware of what’s going on in governance. Nigerians are now wiser; our people are going to the point of enough is enough. Their coalition is not going to work because I don’t think Nigerians are going to buy in. People joining the coalition in the first place have no clear ideology. People join Atiku Abubakar, El-Rufai and others, we know their antecedents. They don’t care about Nigerians; they are doing it because they are not in power and want to come back to power. What Nigerians need in 2027 is not ageing politicians who want to come back to governance, but genuine leaders who want to make our nation great again. So that’s where I’m having a problem with the coalition. And to see Peter Obi with them is very disappointing, but not that disappointing to me, because I know Peter Obi more than the people who are supporting him. Nigerians want a true change. Some people felt that they could see that change in him. I would have wanted Peter Obi to stay in the Labour Party, let us move the party together. But if he cannot do that, in running to the coalition, what will happen tomorrow, if the coalition also crashes, he will go and look for another political party. He allowed the Labour party to go into disarray with many factions, and nothing good is happening. What of the competence and capacity of the man Peter Obi claimed, I’m not sure Nigerians will follow him to ADC. This election is not going to be determined by these politicians, Nigerians will decide it.”

Faduri was also asked by Tender Chemielu to comment on the resignation of former APC National Chairman, Abdullahi Ganduje, amid circulating claims that his exit was part of a broader political strategy to pave the way for NNPP’s Rabiu Kwankwaso to join the APC and secure a ticket. Reacting to the development, Faduri said it was purely driven by self-serving political interests:

> “It’s for their selfish political calculations,” he said, asserting that no matter how politically strong Rabiu Kwankwaso may appear, “the only calculation that will work in the forthcoming election is the calculation of Nigerians, not selfish and underperformed politicians.”

Atiku Haske Organisation, Niger Chapter Throws Weight Behind ADC

Atiku Haske Organisation, Niger Chapter Throws Weight Behind ADC

Minna, Niger State – The Niger State chapter of the Atiku Haske Organisation has officially declared its support for the African Democratic Congress (ADC), the newly adopted political platform of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, in preparation for the 2027 general elections.

In a statement issued by the chapter’s leader, Aminu Sani Bello, the group said its decision was borne out of “urgent concerns about the political realities in Nigeria,” adding that there was a pressing need for a realignment with a platform that offers credible leadership and a clear alternative to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

“It has become pertinent to rally around a strong and viable political platform that can serve as a reliable and dependable vehicle for rescuing Nigeria from the grips of failed leadership,” the statement read.

Bello further noted that after a careful assessment of the prevailing political climate, the organisation resolved to join the coalition backing the ADC, in line with the direction of its principal, Atiku Abubakar.

“We studied the political situation in the country and resolved to join forces with the coalition that has adopted the ADC to rescue Nigeria. We are left with no option but to follow our principal, His Excellency Atiku Abubakar, to any party of his choice,” he said.

The organisation described Atiku as a seasoned politician with the experience, capacity, and leadership qualities required to tackle Nigeria’s challenges, including insecurity, economic hardship, and poor governance.

“At this junction, we cannot afford to gamble with leadership. We need someone who understands the terrain and can hit the ground running. This is why we are calling on our brothers and sisters in the southern part of the country to support Atiku in 2027.”

Reaffirming its commitment to the Atiku project, the group pledged to mobilise youths and resources across the country to ensure a change of leadership in 2027.

“Nigeria is blessed with vast human and natural resources. All we need is the right leadership—and we strongly believe Atiku Abubakar is the one who can lift the country from the trenches of poverty and maladministration.”

The statement concluded with a nationwide appeal, urging Nigerians from all walks of life—regardless of region, ethnicity, or religion—to rally behind Atiku Abubakar as the most viable alternative capable to make Nigeria a greater and prosperous nation again.

Same Old Politicians in New Clothing: Nigerians, Do Not Be Deceived Again-Fadojoe

Same Old Politicians in New Clothing: Nigerians, Do Not Be Deceived Again

By Faduri Oluwadare Joseph
Former Presidential Aspirant (Labour Party)
Leader, Rescue Movement for New Nigeria

It is laughable—and deeply insulting to our collective intelligence—that the same individuals who wrecked our country, destroyed our economy, collapsed our educational system, and chased away companies and jobs through reckless policies now parade themselves as agents of change.

These are the same architects of the “Emilokan” brand of governance—a slogan that birthed an era of arrogance, entitlement, and impunity—which President Bola Tinubu is merely continuing. Today, these same failed leaders have rebranded themselves overnight, claiming they want to “rescue” Nigeria. From what, if not the very destruction they orchestrated?

It is a tragedy that these old political figures—who once had power and opportunity to do right by Nigerians but instead enriched themselves—are now aligning for selfish interests under the pretense of national salvation. Their sudden “coalitions” are not built on vision or values, but on desperation and self-preservation.

As I have always said, the future of Nigeria will not be decided by defecting politicians or recycled coalitions. The next election belongs to:

The ordinary Nigerian who has suffered silently for too long.

The Nigerian youth, cheated and sidelined for decades.

The market women who have been used and discarded.

The Christian community praying for true change.

The Muslims yearning for justice, equity, and a functional nation.

The children of Nigeria who deserve a hopeful, secure future.

Let me be clear: those who cannot organize their own homes cannot organize a nation.

Is it Atiku Abubakar and his PDP camp that couldn’t resolve their internal crises?
Is it Peter Obi, who proved incapable of leading the Labour Party?
Is it Nasir El-Rufai, aggrieved over not getting a ministerial post, despite the pain he left behind in Kaduna State?
Is it Rauf Aregbesola, whose years in power—both as Governor and Minister—left no significant legacy?

These same people who contributed to the rot that Tinubu simply inherited and worsened now wish to “rescue” the very nation they helped destroy? Nigerians must not be fooled.

What we are witnessing is not a coalition for Nigeria, but a coalition of corruption, a coalition of greed, and a setup for yet another failed government in new clothing. It is the same old wine in a new bottle.

But there is hope.
The National Rescue Movement (NRM) and the Rescue Movement for New Nigeria are offering a new direction—a new generation of leaders with fresh ideas and clean hands. A new Nigeria is possible in 2027, but only if we, the people, reject recycled failures and embrace true change.

It is time to retire the old order.
2,000 corrupt politicians cannot dictate the destiny of 200 million Nigerians.
2027 is the year of the people’s decision.

Let us remember: Our vote is our power. These gangs of corrupt elites are stockpiling cash—not to build roads or improve lives—but to buy votes and destabilize democracy.

Let us stay alert. Let us guard our conscience. Let us unite.
We have one shot at rescuing our nation—and Rescue Movement is the credible and principled alternative.

May God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
May God bless you.
And may God bless me.

Uba Sani: Changing the Scope of Governance in Northern Nigeria

Uba Sani: Changing the Scope of Governance in Northern Nigeria

By Zaidu Zaidu

Purposeful leadership has long been the missing link in Northern Nigeria’s development journey. Despite its vast human and mineral resources, the region is often seen as a drawback in the country’s quest for sustainable progress. Simply put, many perceive Northern Nigeria as a burden, a region with little to offer. This perception might have been different if the region had continued to produce visionary leaders in the mould of the Sardauna and other great northern statesmen, who not only led with purpose but also united the people across all divides.

Today, however, a new wave of leadership is beginning to challenge this narrative. Senator Uba Sani stands out among a handful of emerging leaders who are redefining what it means to govern with vision, empathy, and results. Calm, calculative, and unassuming, the former Senator representing Kaduna Central has hardly put a foot wrong since he emerged as Governor of Kaduna State. He started by putting the people first and breaking free from the human factors that so often impede growth and development. This did not come easily, but who else would take such bold steps if not Uba Sani? If he could stand up to military juntas in the past, why would he now fear diminutive men in flowing agbadas?

Governor Uba Sani’s leadership style gives life to John C. Maxwell’s saying that “A leader is one who knows the way, goes the way, and shows the way.” Since assuming office, he has wasted no time translating his vision into action, and he is doing so without media frenzy or fanfare. Unlike his predecessor, who employed the tactic of divide and rule, Governor Uba Sani has been able to harmonise both the northern and southern parts of Kaduna State.

Before he came on board, Kaduna was a hotbed for bandits and terrorists, a place where, to borrow the words of Thomas Hobbes, life was “solitary, poor, nasty, brutish, and short.” But through dialogue and a non-kinetic approach, he has helped restore a measure of peace, especially in troubled axes like Birnin Gwari. While pockets of attacks still occur, the frequency has reduced significantly, showing that security is not only about force, but also about trust and community engagement.

In terms of infrastructure, Governor Uba Sani has made meaningful strides despite inheriting a huge debt running into hundreds of millions of dollars. Roads like the Kachia-Kafanchan link and rural feeder roads in Giwa and Soba have been rehabilitated, reconnecting communities and boosting local economies in ways that touch people’s daily lives.

When the time came to organise the North West Stakeholders Forum, many doubted it could hold without descending into chaos, especially considering how the North East Stakeholders Forum had gone. But Governor Uba Sani proved the doubters wrong by spearheading one of the most seamless and productive forums in recent times. His success mirrors the Igbo proverb that “When an elder is in the house, the she-goat does not suffer parturition on its tether.” Though Governor Uba Sani is still young, he has succeeded where some elders have failed.

When predictions of chaos at the North West Stakeholders Forum did not come to pass, critics shifted their doubts to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s visit to commission landmark projects like the rebuilt Sabon Gari Market. They said the President could not visit Kaduna without crisis, especially considering this is the state where his strongest and bitterest critic governed for eight years. Yet again, Uba Sani silenced them. Talk of a leader who knows his onions.

In the area of appointments, Governor Uba Sani has shown that he understands the time-tested Nigerian cliché that the youth are the leaders of tomorrow. His cabinet includes young, qualified professionals alongside experienced hands, with clear attention to gender balance.

In all this, one thing stands out: Governor Uba Sani’s quiet revolution in Kaduna is not just transforming a state, it is rewriting the story of Northern Nigeria. By proving that with vision, courage, and sincerity, purposeful governance is indeed possible, he reminds us that the North still has leaders who know the way, go the way, and show the way.

It is now up to the people to demand and support such leadership elsewhere, for only then can the North truly rediscover the greatness it once gave Nigeria and Africa.

Angry Kaduna Women’s Group Blasts Senator Lawal Adamu Over Non-Performance, Lack of Empowerment

Angry Kaduna Women’s Group Blasts Senator Lawal Adamu Over Non-Performance, Lack of Empowerment

A prominent women’s advocacy group in Kaduna Central Senatorial District has sharply criticized Senator Lawal Adamu for what it described as two years of non-performance, lack of constituency engagement, and failure to provide empowerment programs, particularly for women, youth, and vulnerable groups.

In a statement issued to journalists today, the Women Forum for Unity and Development of Kaduna Central expressed disappointment over the senator’s alleged silence on the Senate floor and his inability to attract any meaningful development to the district since assuming office in 2023.

“It is over two years now since we elected Senator Lawal Adamu, and we have never heard his voice on the floor of the Senate,” said Hajiya Amina Suleiman, the group’s leader. “We have not seen any serious empowerment programme aimed at cushioning the effect of the current economic situation.”

The group lamented that while lawmakers in other parts of Kaduna and across the country have implemented various initiatives—such as distribution of tricycles (Keke Napep), grinding machines, motorcycles, and grants for small-scale businesses—Kaduna Central has seen no such dividends of democracy under Adamu’s leadership.

“We see other senators initiating scholarship schemes, distributing farm implements, and launching skill acquisition centers. Sadly, our representative has failed to do any of this,” Suleiman added.

The forum also criticized Adamu’s frequent absence from the senatorial district and his reported prolonged stays abroad. “He is always in Saudi Arabia instead of sitting in the Senate to raise issues concerning the progress and development of our constituency,” the statement read.

Most strikingly, the group condemned the senator’s failure to visit any of the seven local government areas within the district, stating that he appears more interested in aligning himself with the Senate leadership than in addressing the pressing needs of his constituents.

“We didn’t elect him to serve as an aide to Senator Godswill Akpabio,” the group emphasized. “Our recent review meeting at Arewa House concluded that Senator Lawal Adamu is the worst-performing representative Kaduna Central has ever had.”

Citing the ongoing economic hardship worsened by the removal of fuel subsidy, the women’s group warned that their patience is wearing out.

National Honour: Group to Dangiwa Umar — Military Officers You Mentioned Didn’t Fight for June 12

National Honour: Group to Dangiwa Umar — Military Officers You Mentioned Didn’t Fight for June 12

A pro-democracy group under the aegis of the June 12 Ibadan Alliance for Democracy has faulted former Military Governor of Kaduna State, Colonel Abubakar Dangiwa Umar (rtd), over his recent call for national honours to be extended to several of his military colleagues.

Col. Umar, who was recently conferred with the national honour of Commander of the Federal Republic (CFR) by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, had in a statement personally signed by him, appealed to the Federal Government to recognise “38 or more” unnamed ex-military officers whom he described as “unsung heroes” of the June 12, 1993 democratic struggle.

However, in a swift response, the June 12 Ibadan Alliance for Democracy rejected the suggestion, arguing that some of the officers referenced were in fact collaborators with the regime of the late General Sani Abacha and did not act in support of democratic ideals.

In a statement signed by its National Coordinator, Comrade Arisekola Abdulwahab, the group said:

“We appreciate Col. Dangiwa Umar for accepting the national honour and acknowledge his outstanding role in defending the sanctity of June 12 despite being in military uniform. However, it is unacceptable to recommend for honours those military officers who were part of the machinery that frustrated and truncated Nigeria’s democratic aspirations.”

The group emphasized that while Umar’s personal contributions to the democracy movement are commendable and worthy of national recognition, those of his military colleagues—especially those who “hobnobbed with anti-democratic forces”—should not be glorified.

“For the benefit of younger generations who may not know the history, honouring such officers would wrongly present them as champions of democracy. That would be a distortion of history,” the statement warned.

The group concluded by urging President Tinubu and the National Honours Committee to exercise caution in selecting future honorees, stating that:

“National recognition should only go to individuals with verifiable contributions to Nigeria’s democratic journey.”
