Senator Shehu Sani’s Reaction to Statement Issued by El-rufai’s Commissioners on Kaduna Assembly Investigation

Senator Shehu Sani’s Reaction to the Statement Issued by El-rufai’s Commissioners on Kaduna Assembly Investigation

… Says Investigation is Unbiased , Comprehensive and backed by Facts and Figures

The people of Kaduna State and the country as a whole should ignore the so called statement issued by the Commissioners of the immediate past administration of Kaduna State.

The investigation conducted by the Kaduna State House of Assembly is unbiased, comprehensive and evidently backed by facts and figures.

It’s sad and unfortunate that people who financially ruined, strangled and incapacitated the state for eight years still have the shameless boldness of disparaging an impartial probe that exposed the systemic thievery and open heist that became the art and science of governance in Kaduna State.
Never in the history of Kaduna State or any state in Northern Nigeria has there ever been such a clinical and forensic probe of scandalous, unbridled, gargantuan scale corruption. The report speaks for itself in clarity and substance. They should be ashamed of themselves.

They plundered our resources, enriched themselves and suffocated the economy of our state with debt that will take generations to service. Many of them were struggling to live before 2015 and today they live large from collective resources of the people of Kaduna State.

I challenge all of them to make public the content of the Code of Conduct forms they filled in 2015 and the one they filled in 2023.
For eight years,Kaduna was a heaven for opacity, official larceny,Financial thuggery and fiscal banditry by fraudulent contractors, thieving consultants and parasites in the Government House.People who cannot even be councilors in their states of origin came to Kaduna and looted the resources of our people.

People who should be returning the money they stole and seek forgiveness are today striving hard to smear an investigation that cast light on their anus.

They ruined the economy and lives of millions of our people. They amassed wealth for themselves.Any attempt to jettison the KSHA report can lead to the breakdown of law and order in the state. They must be brought to book.If anyone has ever given me any contract in Kaduna State of even ONE NAIRA from 1999 to date should come forward.Kaduna Lawmakers must stand courageously firm and never bend in the face of any intimidation or cowardly threat
by the beneficiaries of that looting regime.A toilet paper stained with the feaces of a full blown adult is more useful than their piece of thrash.

EL-RUFAI: THE LOOTER ‘MERCILESSLY LOOTED’ KADUNA, TOOK HUGE LOANS FOR PROJECTS ABANDONED MIDWAY.

By Comrade Musa Mohammed (Moonlight)

“ Eighth years of Nasiru El-Rufai reign as governor of Kaduna state, he singlehandedly siphoned, diverted over $758 million.’’

The kaduna former governor Nasir El-Rufai’s who in the past claimed of running an administration of integrity, “mercilessly” depleted the state’s resources and acquired humongous loans worth over $700 million on projects that would take more than 20 years to complete.

El-Rufai left his successor Senator Uba Sani wallowing in over $758 million debt that he couldn’t account for.

The Anti-graft agencies should quickly and immediately investigate El-Rufai’s alleged financial misconduct during his eight-year term which ended in May 2023.

Records shows that the state only incurred $235 million in debt which was later cleared in all of the 50 years, specifically between 1965 and 2015 prior to El-Rufai’s administration. But El-Rufai in just eight years in office took out new loans totalling $758 million.

Also, the records shows El-Rufai in 2015 inherited a buoyant state with N3 billion in government coffers to kick-start his administration, a feat he could not replicate as he rather left his successor to drown in debt.

“From 1965 to when he (El-Rufai) was handed power to, the total debt taken by Kaduna State was $235 million”.

“By the time he (El-Rufai) came into office in 2015, the domestic debt incurred by the previous government was completely wiped off. He came in, there was zero debt, and then they left behind for him monies worth about N34 billion to kick off his government”.

I wonder, the man El-Rufai who called his administration of integrity amid huge loans obtained from the Africa Development Bank and Islamic Bank expended on projects that he executed “60 per cent” halfway and later abandoned, and the claims were not made up as there were documents to buttress his assertions.

There were several millions of dollars collected from Africa Development Bank and Islamic Bank to execute specific projects that were never done.

We will see how MALAM NASIRU EL-RUFAI will shamelessly respond to all allegations (accusations).

Democracy Day: Let’s Get Ready To Remove Bad Leaders In Nigeria-Fadojoe

Democracy Day: Let’s Get Ready To Remove Bad Leaders In Nigeria
-Fadojoe

The leader of Rescue Movement for New Nigeria aka Rescue The Vulnerable Initiative Comrade Faduri Oluwadare Joseph popularly known as Fadojoe has called on Nigerians to brace and start getting ready to take advantage of the next election seasons to vote out bad leaders in Nigeria, so we can truly enjoy the dividends of democracy.

This he said during his live broadcast on Rescue TV an online television platform for Rescue Movement for New Nigeria on Wednesday June 12, 2024 in commemoration of Democracy Day.

Tracing the foundation of Nigeria democracy he stressed that, “31 years ago, Nigeria had the freest and fairest election, but it was annulled by the then General Ibrahim Babangida with reasons not genuine enough for the annulment. We had M.K.O. Abiola then, the presumed winner of June 12, 1993 election. But Nigerians went into rampage, and since 1993 June 12 till today, Nigeria has not remained the same.

“The person of M.K.O. Abiola brought hope to Nigeria then.
For the very first time, Nigerians both from the north and south were united to elect a man they believed can perform and that they believed so much in, that everyone was posed to make MKO Abiola the president of Nigeria then.

“Though Babangida had wanted to cling to power after the annulment of June 12 election, but when he noticed that he could no longer hold to power due to the agitation, he had to “step aside” handing over to an interim government headed by Chief Ernest Sonekan then. But General Abacha through a palace coup removed Sonekan from office within few weeks, so that the military junta regime could continue to hold on to power”.

The activist however, added that despite all that the military did to keep holding on to power, the resilience of Nigerians prevailed as democracy was enthroned on 29th May, 1999. “But from 1999 that the military handed over to a democratically elected government, the same military people, have also been up and down on our ballot papers even after transformation to democracy. However, our democracy has continued uninterrupted till today. And today we are celebrating another democracy day.

“Though many military leaders don’t want to acknowledge that what gave birth to democracy today is as a result of June 12. But General Buhari did the utmost thing that any leader will do, by making June 12 the democracy day and that’s what we are celebrating today. Kudos to him for that.”

Speaking about the present situation of Nigeria the USA based certified nurse and politician is sympathetic with Nigerians that “the poor can no longer breath in our dear nation. Some time ago, the poor could buy pepper, tomato meat and make good soup. But today in our nation the poor can no longer afford pepper, tomato, meat etc to cook a pot of soup and can no longer afford beans, rice or gari to have manageable meal. And three square meal has become the exclusive right of only the rich in Nigeria, as an average Nigerian now go on 1:0:1 or 0:1:0 in a country that was once flowing with milk and honey and that the natural resources are still available.

“A country where Nigerians could go to farm even at night before now, has become a country where farmers cannot go to farm even in broad daylight due to insecurity. And citizens are already suffering the consequences of farmers not been able to farm like before, as the cost of even most common food items is skyrocketing daily and have gone far above what an average Nigerian man can afford to manageably feed his family.

“Don’t get me wrong, democracy is still remains the best form of government anywhere in the world. It’s a government of the people, by the people and for the people. A government where we can express ourselves, challenge the government and where any president can still not stay beyond 8 years for now. Though under democracy it may seem as if we are not moving fast and it may appear as if everything is stagnant, but there is no form of government as good as democracy.

“In fact, if we are determined to exercise our constitutional power, we can remove bad leaders after four years, but under a military regime this is not the case, as they rule by decree, take away your right to speak and can hold on to power for many years, as we have some cases in some African countries where Head of State held on to power for over 30 years and even in Nigeria where the like of Gowon and Babangida held to power until they were tactically removed”.

He reminded Nigerians that many people must come to the realization seeing the way things are done in the country. How this administration in just one year has made millions of Nigerians poorer than before. How many companies are quiting and leaving Nigeria for neighbouring African countries. People are losing job by the day. And Nigeria now being one of the worst when it comes to number of unemployment in Africa.

“Therefore I am calling on all Nigerians from the east, north, south and west, that our work has just started. We must begin to put ourselves together, mobilize and getting ready ahead of the next election to change none performing leaders in our country both the executive and legislative and at every level. We can do it and make a case for a nation that has everything, but lack everything. A nation that has abundant of crude oil, but suffering for fuel. A nation that has food but begging for food. A nation with water but begging for water. A nation with good weather but begging for favourable atmosphere. That is how bad it is.

“It’s over one year that subsidy has been removed and life is becoming so unbearable for an average Nigerian yet this government has not been able to increase the minimum wage to alleviate the unbearable suffering of the civil servants. Though the demand of the organized labour may not be realistic for now, but about N100,000 or at least N80,000 as minimum wage is not too bad.

“But in all of these we must still celebrate democracy and commemorate those who fought for democracy especially those who lost their lives. People like late M.K.O Abiola, late Kudirat Abiola, people from the east, north, south and west. Even the present president of Nigeria, Alhaji Bola Ahmed Tinubu also fought for democracy. We must give them kudos where they did well.

“But the question now is, if they are doing their best now to make people feel the impact of democracy. We know that the answer is NO! But the politicians we have today have forgotten that people died for the democracy they are benefiting from today. They should see that they are not the only people enjoying democracy today, asking Nigerians to be patience while they are living extravagant wasteful life”.

Laying specific emphasis on the need to be involved in the democratic processes having watched, observed and realized how the nation is crashing and the economy crumbling that food is now going beyond the reach of an average Nigerian, “It’s quite unfortunate that in a nation of over 200 million population, only less than 29% are involved in election and that is why we have what we have today. People always say “I am not involved in election because all politicians are the same.” The fact is when you don’t vote you give the wrong people more opportunities, you allow people that are not supposed to be in government to impose themselves and when they are in government we all suffer it. So instead of us to continue to suffer in our nation, we must improve in terms of the number of those participating in elections, especially the younger generation.

“If you are not voting you are part of the problems of this country. You are part of those who allow the wrong leaders impose themselves on the country. Those who are not voting have no moral right to complain when things are not going on well. We must be well involved and that is how we can change our nation.

“We must elect leaders who will represent us well from president, to lawmakers, to governors, to governors, to House of Assembly to even Councilors. Those who will work and not those who will just give out peanuts during election and end up not doing well.

“In 2023 we made an attempt and we almost took power from this bourgeoisie and that was a good attempt. We can still do it, let’s keep it up. Don’t be discouraged.

“I am Comrade Faduri Oluwadare Joseph aka Fadojoe, the leader of Rescue Movement for New Nigeria. I still believe in new Nigeria and I still believe that one day we will rescue our dear country. Happy democracy day to all my fellow Nigerians both home and abroad”, he concluded.

Breaking: Uba Sani’s Free School Feeding is Unbeatable — Arewa Group

Breaking: Uba Sani’s Free School Feeding is Unbeatable — Arewa Group

A group under the auspices of Arewa Educational Advancement Forum has commended Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State for running what it described as “unbeatable free boarding school feeding programme” in the region.

Chairman of the Forum Hajiya Rabi Haroun made the group’s verdict known in Kaduna at their Annual General Meeting (AGM).

She explained that the group’s independent findings have confirmed that Kaduna State is currently feeding about 25,000 students in 51 boarding schools across the 23 local governments.

“This programme involves serving three square meals daily, amounting to a significant 20 million meals annually, with a projected expenditure of approximately N3.5 billion each year”, she further explained.

The Forum expressed confidence in the ability of the governor to “make a big difference with such a very transparent school feeding programme, effectively supervised by hardworking, competent aides”.

It would be recalled that Governor Uba Sani ensured that the State’s education sector got the lion share of the 2024 budgetary allocations.

Minimum Wage : Northern Group Replies NLC over Attack on Akume

Minimum Wage : Northern Group Replies NLC over Attack on Akume

Northern Coalition for Democracy and Good Governance (NOCODGOG )has replied the Nigerian Labour Congress over recent attack on the personality of the Secretary of Federal Government, Mr George Akume .

Mr. Akume had declared that he cannot afford to pay each of his four drivers N100, 000 as salary in a month.

But in reaction, the Nigerian Labour Congress via press statement issued on Friday said, it was “disheartening” that the SGF, a high ranking government official would make statement to trivialise the genuine grievances of Nigerian workers, when he said, he can’t afford to pay his four drivers N100,000 each as salary.

According to the group in the statement signed by Comrade Abdullahi Baffa Ringim and Comrade Andrew Bartholomew Rufus , the NLC’s reaction was undoubtedly grossly insensitive and inconsiderate to the personality someone, who was a former Governor; former Senator and the current SGF.

The further reads:”We know Akume as a patriot and a sensitive Nigerian, who considers the reality on ground rather than playing to the gallery. He was just being honest by making such statement over lingering matter of minimum wage for workers .

“The statement Akume made was because he didn’t steal public funds while in positions of authority held over the years. It is only corrupt leaders and thieves that afford to pay such unrealistic demands by Labour unions.

“We also deemed unacceptable for NLC to express disappointment over Akume’s comments, where the SGF described the “legitimate and constitutionally protected industrial action” as a “treasonable felony” and “economic sabotage” .

It asked, “what is “deeply troubling” that has undermined the spirit of constructive dialogue necessary for resolving the ongoing issues with the realistic statement made by the SGF”

“We make bold to say , Akume not among those who loot our treasury around the country, those who diverted public resources meant for hospitals and schools, padded budgets and inflated contracts including those who steal trillions of naira in the name of subsidy are the real economic saboteurs who commit treasonable felony.

While stating that the SGF is not one those NLC described people paying personal staff “starvation wages”,the group said considerations must be given to background of leaders to reach conclusion.

“The SGF during his as Governor of Benue State was not committed to regular payments workers, but also an advocate their rights and welfare.”it added .

Over N400b siphoned by El-rufai administration : We’re More Interested In Recovering Our Stolen Money Than Fighting A Man That’s Already Down – Comrade Musa Mohammed

Over N400b siphoned by El-rufai administration : We’re More Interested In Recovering Our Stolen Money Than Fighting A Man That’s Already Down – Comrade Musa Mohammed

El-Rufai and his abusive and rabble-rousing cronies are real liars?

“El-Rufai and associates are all liars … lie to protect themselves, to shield their egos from the raw pain of truth.” We didn’t expect El-Rufai and his confused and crying cronies to own up to the horrendous heist committed against the people of Kaduna State, hence we were not shocked by the sadistic onslaught being fired by them from different directions. However, the question is: can these aggressive vituperations erase the strong facts of their financial malfeasance?

El-Rufai is yet to account for what he did with our fund, as he left humongous liabilities, including pensioners gratuity, unpaid contract, abandoned projects, salary arrears to Doctors and other staff of Kaduna health workers.

After Governor Uba Sani took over, the resident Doctors and the health workers including Nuhu Bamalli polytechnic are planning to go for indefinite strike, only called off their four months of strike action after Governor Uba Sani quickly intervened after his inauguration.

Let me warn the little man Spokespersons and others that ran to different media, lying to the public and abusing Governor Uba Sani, accusing him of witchhunting them, but immediately when the committee of enquiry set by the state legislatives appeared on the same platforms and put the records straight with facts, they looked so pathetic.

And for Nasiru El-Rufai cronies ignorantly thinking that nothing can happen, all you lovers of ignominy and impunity must be prosecuted for defrauding the state on an industrial scale.

For those thinking that the ad-hoc committee that exposed El-Rufai misdeeds, fraud and impunity can’t do anything, be ready to put your money where your mouth is, by coming to indemnify the accused when they will be arraigned by anti-corruption agencies.

Kaduna State belongs to everyone, including kaduna youths whose futures were looted by El-rufai and associates, therefore, we have every right to ask questions on their behalf, bring those who viciously dimmed their light to justice, and recover their stolen opportunities, therefore, those who have chosen to sing songs of Lamentations should know that these are early days.

For those defending the ruinous era out of malice; for selfish reasons or out of ignorance, “Never follow a follower who is following someone who has fallen. It’s why the whole world is falling apart.”.

Your Excellency Sen. Uba Sani, do what you need to do to recover every penny that Nasiru El-Rufai stole from the kaduna state coffers. We are solidly behind you.

There’s need to warrants of arrest and order to freeze the former governor of Kaduna Nasiru El-Rufai, family, friends and associates bank accounts by EFCC, and NFIU loading.

The state governor and the legislators should ensure the recovery of our stolen money from those leeches, technocrats, fraudulent, thieving consultants and bandits who plundered the state into the pool of pain.

UBA SANI DID IN ONE YEAR WHAT OTHERS COULDN’T DO IN FOUR YEARS- Group

UBA SANI DID IN ONE YEAR WHAT OTHERS COULDN’T DO IN FOUR YEARS- Group

Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani, has been hailed as a trailblazer and a champion of progress by the Northwest Progressives League, a non-partisan group of concerned citizens.

This was made known at a press conference held at Arewa House in Kaduna, by the group’s Secretary-General, Hasana Labaran Ali. She revealed that Governor Sani’s administration has achieved in one year what others couldn’t in four.

According to Ali, Governor Sani’s remarkable achievements include signing an Executive Order to benefit over 2 million poor and underserved people, releasing N3 billion to pensioners and families of deceased civil servants, commissioning the first Township stadium in rural Kaduna, kickstarting rural electrification and roads, launching Mobile Clinics for remote areas, and introducing a home-grown economic intervention measure called ‘A Kori Talauci’.

The group also praised Governor Sani for being the first Governor to spend N11.4 billion to alleviate citizens’ suffering and establish a Security Trust Fund, distributing 150 operational vehicles to security agents and offering logistics support in the war on terror.

“This is a testament to Governor Sani’s commitment to delivering qualitative governance services to the people of Kaduna State,” Ali said. “His achievements will improve the lives of millions of residents, create jobs, and drive economic growth.”

The Northwest Progressives League commended Governor Sani for his tireless efforts and urged him to sustain the tempo. The group’s endorsement is a significant boost to Governor Sani’s administration, as it comes from a non-partisan organization known for its objective assessment of governance.

Governor Sani’s remarkable achievements have set a new standard for governance in Kaduna State, and his commitment to the people’s welfare has earned him widespread recognition. As the state continues to witness unprecedented progress, one thing is clear: Uba Sani has done in one year what others couldn’t do in four!

NLC’s Hypocrisy: Selective Strike And Billions Lost

NLC’s Hypocrisy: Selective Strike And Billions Lost

By Comrade Ismaila Umar Ali

The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has been caught in a web of hypocrisy, sparking outrage and disbelief across the country. While they zealously embarked on a strike over salary increases, they had earlier refused to do so when the government increased fuel prices and electricity tariffs, citing a court order.

Double Standards

The NLC’s selective strike action reeks of hypocrisy, as they chose to respect a court order in one instance but ignored the same principle when it comes to their personal interests. Their reluctance to challenge the fuel price and electricity hikes, which disproportionately affect the masses, has exposed their true priorities.

Personal Comfort vs Public Interest

The NLC’s eagerness to strike over salary increases, which benefits their members directly, stands in stark contrast to their inaction on issues that affect the broader population. This blatant prioritization of personal comfort over public interest has raised questions about their true motives and representation.
God alone knows how many innocent newborn Nigerian babies in public hospitals could die inside Incubators. One can only imagine how Mortuaries would manage corpses.
Another very troubling situation was how international airline operators have not been allowed by the NLC to airlift Nigerian pilgrims!

Inflation Ignored

Furthermore, the NLC’s demands for salary increases without considering the worsening inflationary trends in the country have been criticized as shortsighted and selfish. Their refusal to acknowledge the potential consequences of their demands has sparked concerns about their commitment to the welfare of all Nigerians, not just their members.

The NLC’s hypocrisy has damaged their credibility and public trust, raising questions about their ability to genuinely represent the interests of the working class. As the strike continues, many are left wondering whether the NLC truly cares about the Nigerian people or just their own selfish interests.

UBA SANI: ONE OF THOSE MAKING HISTORY/ONE OF THE BEST PERFORMING GOVERNORS

By Comrade Musa Mohammed

In a significant move to boost investment in the mining sector, Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani, has commissioned a state-of-the-art $2 Million Lithium Processing Plant in Kangimi, Igabi Local Government Area.

The plant, a joint venture between the Kaduna State Government and Ming Xin Mineral Separation Nigeria Ltd, boasts an impressive initial capacity of 1,500 metric tonnes per day.

Key Highlights:

  1. Job Creation: The project is expected to create over three thousand job opportunities, benefiting both the Kuriga mining site and the Kangimi processing plant.
