If Labour Party Crisis Continues Unresolved, Party’ll be Destroyed -Fadojoe

…Blames Peter Obi for the division

Apparently worried about the crisis rocking the Labour Party, a Former Presidential Aspirant of the Party ,Mr. Faduri Oluwadare Joseph Also Known As Fadojoe said it is clear that the Labour Party has become a house divided against itself.

According to him, If the crisis within labour Party continues unresolved, the party will definitely be destroyed.

Speaking during a world press Conference held at United States of America via Zoom, the Former Presidential Aspirant, Fadojoe, who described Labour Party as the only alternative party Nigerians are looking up to, queried the inability of Peter Obi to resolve the crisis rocking the party.

He stated further, “The first question I asked myself and wants Nigerians to ask themselves is “where is Mr competent and capable? Where is the man who told the World he is competent to run a country and yet a party under him is in total shambles, but he could not handle it. Where is the man that calls himself Mr Fix-it that he can fix the country’s problem yet can’t fix the problem mainly and majorly created by him and his cohorts in the party. Let’s be clear to ourselves.

“This shows that Mr Peter Obi’s incompetency is more pronounced at this stage, that he cannot even reconcile all parties; bring all parties to a round table and broker peace.”

While expressing displeasure over the crisis, he explained how he kicked started mobilisation for Labour Party that later because a third force and alternative for real change ahead of the 2023 general election.

However, he said Mr Peter Obi got the ticket  to run for Nigerian President after his exit from PDP few days to end of primaries then.

Speaking further ,he added ,”Yet the same man claimed he can bring peace to a nation of diverse culture, people and tribes. If Mr Peter Obi cannot lead a party successfully, how then can he lead Nigeria as a nation successfully? If Mr Peter watches as LP gets destroyed everyday, then one may want to believe that he has failed as a leader and not competent or have the capacity to run a nation of over 250 ethics diversities.

“I know for sure that his followers with blind interests would argue otherwise. Mr Peter Obi himself started this chaos by nominating a corrupt DG in person of Dr Doyin Okupe, who had to drop off after been indicted to pay back N400 million stolen money from Nigeria.

“At this junction it is time to say enough is enough. These leaders, if they can’t sit and find a common ground and if Peter Obi cannot broker peace between all these worrying parties, they should leave the Party and let us the younger generation pick up the pieces and put it together for the betterment of our country and our nation. I am glad that finally the NLC which is the parent body of LP has since risen to her responsibility of not allowing Abure and the gang of other factions to destroy the only party Nigerians are looking up to for hope, for recovery and for viable alternative.

“But much more than that I am calling on everyone involved in this party especially all the Stakeholders, that if they care about this nation and care about Nigerians, not just their personal and selfish interests they should drop their hatchets and sue for peaceful resolution. They should stop all these disturbing issues we have been parading in public for over a year now and let us put this house in order.”

Rescue Movement Condemns Killing of Soldiers, Emphasizes on Need for Military to Stay out of Civil Matter, Promises Aids to Innocent Victims

Rescue Movement Condemns Killing of Soldiers, Emphasizes on the Need for Military to Stay out of Civil Matter, Promises Aids to the Innocent Victims.

The leadership of Rescue The Vulnerable Initiative Aka Rescue Movement For New Nigeria has condemned in the highest terms the killing of our gallant soldiers and deeply sympathized with the bereaved families. “Our hearts and thoughts are with them. And it is criminal for citizens to put laws into their hands to kill military personnel and we ask the community leaders to fish out those who were behind the killings for justice and to serve as deterrent to others on the future”.

While speaking to newsmen in Enugu, the Director General of Rescue The Vulnerable Initiative (aka Rescue Movement For New Nigeria), Martins Chiedozie Ugwu, noted that the ugly event that took place in Delta state with our gallant soldiers again opened the conversation on the implication of using Soldiers on civil matters. In his words “it has become necessary now more than ever for the authorities concerned to work on minimizing the involvement of Nigeria Army in civil or internal issues”. Comrade Ugwu who is also the Secretary General of Africa Thinkers Union stated that Outside the issue of banditry and activities of extremists, our gallant soldiers don’t have any reason to go for any arrest or involve themselves in communal disputes. “This is purely the work of other sister agencies and not the army. The army should be concerned with the territorial integrity of the country.

“Yes, soldiers are very important in maintaining peace and security. There is no doubt about it that the Nigerian Army is well-trained and equipped for internal security operations. But not every here and there, the soldiers are called upon to intervene. We must work together to avoid this temptation. We must work together to ensure this ugly incident does not happen again. There is a clear understanding of the role of the police and that of the military in Nigeria. The Nigerian police maintains law and order while the Nigerian Army protects the national borders from external invasion, quells insurrections, and carries out internal security operations especially those that threaten the existence of the country. The issue between Okoloba and Okuoma people in Delta State is purely a civil matter and soldiers shouldn’t be involved

“We are using this opportunity to call on the Nigerian government not only to strenghten our police but the Nigerian Police should be well funded and equipped to discharge their legal duties effectively to demilitarize the society. We make bold to state that the Nigerian Army is overstretched, especially on issues they shouldn’t get involved in the first place.

“As a people, the peace and security of the country remain our responsibility and no one should drag our soldiers into things ordinarily they shouldn’t get involved. The event in Delta should serve as a warning to the general public especially those in authority to observe caution in involving the military in civil matters. We call on Nigerians to please as a matter of urgency assist the community whose houses have been burnt and livelihood destroyed. These people need our assistance in any way possible. We are calling on relevant authorities and agencies to provide these innocent members of the communities with the necessary aid to feed and provide shelter for the displaced members of the community.”

Noting further that as an organization, Rescue The Vulnerable Initiative has not only come to rescue the country from its current state, “but we will do our best to assist both the bereaved families of the slain soldiers and those communities razed. Our skilled volunteers and donors will be on hand to help provide shelter and items for the members of the communities. We will continue to support the government where necessary and work assiduously to deliver a new Nigeria. This is an opportunity for all of us the Nigerian masses to join forces with Rescue The Vulnerable Initiative so that we can build the Nigeria of our dreams because we have a new spirit. Thanks to our dedicated team especially Faduri Oluwadare Joseph, the former Labour Party presidential candidate for being such a great Comrade, especially for his effort to ensure that those communities and the families of the slain soldiers receive help.

“In a working society, the army doesn’t have any reason to be in the street talk of intervening in civil matters. This is our vision for the country. A country where our security personnel will not be slaughtered like cows in their own country. This is totally unacceptable and should be condemned by all”, he concluded.

3 Trillion Budget Padding Allegation: RESCUE MOVEMENT SAYS IT’S TERRIBLE, CALLS FOR DETAIL PROBE INSTEAD OF SUSPENDING NINGI

ALLEGATION OF 3 TRILLION BUDGET PADDING: RESCUE MOVEMENT SAYS IT’S TERRIBLE, CALLS FOR DETAIL PROBE INSTEAD OF SUSPENDING NINGI!

The Rescue Movement For New Nigeria aka Rescue The Vulnerable Initiative has described as terrible, the allegation by Senator Abdul Ningi that about N3 trillion was padded into the 2024 Appropriation Bill. The group insists that there should be detail probe to unravel the truth and bring to book anyone found culpable instead of rushing to suspend Senator Ningi that raised the issue publicly.

This was disclosed in a statement made available to pressmen in Kaduna by the group’s National Director, Media and Publicity, Rev Emmanuel Olorunmagba, as the group laments the situation where “at this time that our nation is passing through terrible economic downturn, when we are supposed to be hearing of drastic cut down in the cost of governance that have been highly extravagance, and what is saved from such cut down focused on fighting hunger; but unfortunately we are hearing of budget padding to the tune of whooping three trillion naira (N3 trillion) and again that some Lawmakers were allocated whooping five hundred million naira (N500 million). Instead of such weighty allegation to be thoroughly investigated, the Senate rushed to suspend Senator Ningi. Thus, many Nigerians are now seeing the speedy suspension as intimidation to suppress the weighty allegation”.

Senator Ningi was so categorical in his statement as he declared that, ‘… in the course of our perusing the budget, which Onanuga seems to have dwelt on, I said we have established beyond reasonable doubt, about N25 trillion so far has nexus: that means, there is money, and then there is project and then there is location. Money, project, location! But we are yet to ascertain N3 trillions of that budget. We have established the N3 trillions in that budget, but have not establish the project and its location. I am not afraid of anything… anything… I believe there is one God and I believe power is transient. I am not scared of any issue like suspension…’

This allegation is not only very empathetic, but it is so specific and categorical. Thus, “sweeping such under carpet while hunger is ravaging the ordinary Nigerians is the height of insensitivity”.

Nigerians deserve to know the truth and appropriate actions should be taken to adequately address the issue except the power that be want to deliberately taken the masses for fools.”

The group also noted the alarming rate of escalations of insecurity in the northern part of Nigeria resulting in mass abduction in Borno, Niger, Plateau and kidnapping of pupils and staff from schools in the southern part of Kaduna State.

Calling on the governors especially in northern states of Nigeria to be more proactive and beef up security the more in their states, using the huge security votes they are allocated effectively and corporate towards interstate security network. The situation is getting too much and we cannot continue have a nation where bandit are more powerful than the State”, he concluded.
