Uba Sani: Kaduna Elected A Pathfinder, Emancipator Of The Less Privileged

Uba Sani: Kaduna Elected A Pathfinder, Emancipator Of The Less Privileged.

By Comrade Musa Mohammed

His Excellency The Executive Governor of Kaduna state, Senator Uba Sani is a foremost Politician and nationalist figure who championed the emancipation of the ordinary citizen, without ethnic or religious barriers.

He is a pathfinder and leader of an inestimable value, ‘a pathfinder and ’emancipator of the less privileged’.

He is an icons of political leadership whose contributions to the politics of Kaduna state and the country can not be quantified.

The national assembly (red Chambers) would immortalize the former law maker selfless services and contributions to the national development.

Uba Sani is a leader with intellect, great ideas, oratory prowess and immense capacity for mobilization and organization of the people.

The leadership style of UBA SANI in the political evolution of Nigeria; a Politician who had great ideas for the socio-political and economic development of the country.

Senator Uba Sani’s success and victory, it heralds the rising into mother earth of a man of destiny.

A man whose life has impacted and has continued touching many lives across kaduna state and nigeria positively.

A quintessential leader and a proud son of Kaduna; a man who bequeathed kaduna Central senatorial district with great testimonials of service to the masses during his time as a Senator.

I have always held the opinion and consistently found it to be truly so that the Almighty God has a purpose for all that happens to a man.

After all the sage, whatever happens to a man happens to him for his own good! It is therefore not by coincidence that the Almighty Allah (God) has chosen the month of May to bless our dear state with a unique man of purpose; SENATOR UBA SANI.

Uba Sani was born into and bred by humanism.
He grew learning the art and science of struggle for emancipation.
His adulthood was thus baptized into a life that could best be described as embodiment of the struggle to emancipate the downtrodden! He was not deterred by the unpalatable experiences and difficulties growing up in less privileged environment; having not been born with the fabled silver spoon! Rather, he deployed his humble background as a tonic for sharpening progressive ideological worldview. Imbued by the circumstances of deprivation under which he was raised, he became determined and committed to championing the cause of poor masses.

His quest to pursue progressive ideals with passion has continued to define political activism and leadership.

Uba Sani is a man driven essentially and irrevocably by progressive ideology.

As the new governor of Kaduna state, he will not only transform infrastructural architecture he will also impacted on all facets of human capital development as manifested in education, health, and social development sectors etc.

Uba Sani is a man blinded to primordial sentiments.
He is not ruled by where you come from and what religion you practice but believes in rewarding excellence and exceptional talents. He is not afraid of seeking out talents, nurturing them and encouraging them to grow and become better so that the community and the kaduna project can become better served.

Without sounding immodest, we would boldly say that kaduna state is blessed to have UBA SANI as it’s governor.

We pray that God Almighty will continue to be the source of his strength and have a successful tenure.

ALGON : IMC Exists ,Alabi Falsely Parading as ALGON President,Hon.Abubakar Clears Air

…Says Ategbero Led BoT Selectively Blind

The Interim Management Committee (IMC) National Chairman of Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON) Hon. Abubakar U. Abdullahi has reacted to the newspaper in publication over claims what he termed erroneous claim that the Interim Management Committee is unknown.

According to Hon. Abubakar, the Interim Management Committee exist and has continued to oversee the affairs of the association pending the election of substantive officers.

In a letter written to Daily Trust Editor to clear the air over  the erroneous publication, ALGON body said ,…” our current National Chairman of the IMC, is Hon. Abdullahi U. Abubakar, chairman representing Abaji Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory took over from Hon. Abdullahi S. Maje, a former chairman of Suleja local government area in Niger State.

“Let me reiterate that the Interim Management Committee was set up by the General Assembly in 2019 in furtherance to conducting elections of substantive leadership into the association, this feat which Alabi and Ategbero led BOT has continued to challenge in the judiciary space. Please note that the matter between the IMC and Alabi led faction is before a court of competent jurisdiction, brings me to wonder the claim made in the publication by Ategbero refuting any knowledge of the IMC.”

THE IMC EXISTS, ALABI FALSELY PARADING AS ALGON PRESIDENT; ATEGBERO LED BOT SELECTIVELY BLIND

I write on behalf of the Interim Management Committee of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria, ALGON to react to a recent newspaper publication signed by the Hon. Ategbero led Board of Trustees on behalf of the Hon. Kolade Alabi led faction of the association.

It is well within the news and the full glare of the public, the constant crisis besieging the association as a result of battle for supremacy for the past few years, this rejoinder is the IMC’s mode of clarification on the allegation made by the BOT, stating that the Interim Management Committee is unknown.

First let me reiterate that the Interim Management Committee exist and has continued to oversee the affairs of the association pending the election of substantive officers, our current National Chairman of the IMC, is Hon. Abdullahi U. Abubakar, chairman representing Abaji Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory took over from Hon. Abdullahi S. Maje, a former chairman of Suleja local government area in Niger State.

It is imperative to note that our activities overtime, has been clear for all to see especially as it bothers on eradicating the usurpers, lawbreakers who hijacked the leadership of our association and held it hostage for over 5 years.

Alabi has continued in flagrant violation of subsisting court order restraining him and his cronies from parading as leadership of ALGON, carryout activities in that same vein through the backing of Hon. Odunayo Ategbero led BOT. the former is not a member of any of the 774 constitutionally recognized local government areas, and according to the constitution, a person who is just a local council development area chairman, cannot be president of the association.

Infact these persons, deceitfully gained the position they currently occupy.

We have overtime, casted a vote of no confidence on the Hon. Ategbero led board of trustees, we are not surprised that they have allowed themselves to be puppet in the hands of Alabi and co.

Ategbero led BOT, has continued to thread the path of sabotaging the IMC simply for their selfish interest of enriching the pockets. Their actions show total disregard for the constitutions that binds the association, their nonchalance in creating a solution that would end the crisis, has shown that they are core beneficiaries of it. They have proven to being BOT of propaganda, biasness and greed against the IMC.

The Interim Management Committee is saddled with the sole responsibility of savaging and restoring the association to its glory, we do not want to be seen bantering words in the media spaces, with humans who do not have anything to loose.

Let me reiterate that the Interim Management Committee was set up by the General Assembly in 2019 in furtherance to conducting elections of substantive leadership into the association, this feat which Alabi and Ategbero led BOT has continued to challenge in the judiciary space. Please note that the matter between the IMC and Alabi led faction is before a court of competent jurisdiction, brings me to wonder the claim made in the publication by Ategbero refuting any knowledge of the IMC.

It is also in the news, anti-graft agencies of the criminal offences carried out by Hon. Kolade Alabi, one is the 5.2 billion naira funds belonging to the 774 LGAs purportedly diverted by the former, Mrs Binta and perhaps the Ategbero led BOT who by their actions, have shown that they may be aware of the process. As a committee, we have ensured that the public are aware of the issues surrounding the association, the trustees of any association, holds the authority and responsibility to ensure the fulfilment of an association’s mandate, rather than that, the BOT has drifted and sabotage the associations from carrying out and achieving the mandate.

Finally, let me reiterate that against unsubstantial letter written and signed by the Ategbero led faction, the Interim Management Committee exists and was never ever nullified or dissolved, we shall in due time inaugurate an electoral committee to conduct elections for credible leadership for the association as instructed by the General Assembly (Please note that we shall be transparent and all activities will be captured by the media), Alabi led faction and the BOT is bent on misrepresenting court judgement to massage their ego and divert public attention from their criminal activities in the association and lastly, the IMC, is very open to the media for further questioning or inquiry.

Thank You.

Signed: Hon. Mohammed I. Abubakar

Religious Groups Frown at Payment of Over 12 Trillion Naira for Subsidy … Tells NLC, TUC to Shelve Planned Strike Action , Negotiate

Group under umbrella of Muslim League of Nigeria (TML) has called on Nigeria Labour Congress and Trade Union Congress  and other labour unions to shelve the planned nationwide strike scheduled to commence on Wednesday in protest of the pronouncement made by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on removal of subsidy on Premium Motor Spirit otherwise known as petrol.

The group also urged Nigerians, especially the workers across the 36 states of the country to consider the long term merit  of removing the fuel subsidy above the demerits.

According the Muslim group, the payment of over 12 Trillion Naira on Subsidy to few cabals under guise of subsidy over the  past 4 years  is not only ridiculous, but insensitive to economic realities.

“As a group of  religious leaders, it is our duty and responsibility to ensure we always pray for progress and development of our country as well as  messages of  peace and unity to  our adherents.”The group stated .

In a statement signed by the Chairman and Secretary of the Muslim League of Nigeria (TML), Sheikh Musa El Yakoob

and Mallam Mustapha Harris, the group said,”We can’t fold our arm and pretend all is well, when we see impending tension and crisis brewing  that are capable of destroying the existing peace.

“We are not unaware that Nigerians  continue to writhe in agony over sudden  hike in the pump price of petrol and soaring  cost of  good and services due to the removal of fuel subsidy.”

Similarly, Forum of Nigerian Christian Leaders(FNCL) also called on labour unions to consider the economic implications of embarking on nationwide protest on Wednesday.

In the statement jointly signed by the Chairman, Pastor James Adeleke; Vice Chairman ,Pastor Moses Onuoha

Secretary ,Pastor Eziekel Kanyip and Asst. Secretary ,Pastor Garba Dickson, the Christian group urged President Tinubu  to convey an enlarged stakeholders meeting with markers; entrepreneurs, labour unions and other pressure groups  to discuss and reach  amicable resolutions on the matter.”

“We reliably gathered that the NLC insisted on the announced plans to down tools from Wednesday, if the pump price is not reversed, but are appealing to  the unions to consider exhausting all tools of lobbying and negotiation to avoid subsequent hardship the strike action will cost the country.

“While we appeal to President Tinubu to remain focused and committed to his campaign promises ,we are calling on him to see the labour unions more as partners than enemies”.

Group to Shettima, Ndume,Stop interfering with NASS Election

Group to Shettima, Ndume, stop interfering with NASS Election

Group under aegis of Northern Youths Progressives Forum has asked the Vice President , Senator Kashim Shettima and other members of the executive arm of government to allow the lawmakers decide on who leads them in the 10th National Assembly.

The group also described as  embarrassing  Senator Ali Ndume’s reason for rejection of former Governor of Zamfara State , Senator Abdulaziz Yari’s candidature.

“We are particularly disturbed that a member of the Senate, for some ulterior motives decide to work against the principle and rule of the National Assembly.” It stated.

According to the group, any form of interference, especially from the executive arm of government at this critical period of lobbying amongst lawmakers will have a great adverse impact on the relationship between National Assembly and Tinubu lead administration.

In a statement signed by Comrade Mohammed Ibrahim , Chairmen of the group, failure a democratic process to produce the Senate President and Speaker , House of Representatives might acrimony and disaffection among both members and the party .

The statement further reads: “We recalled with regrets how the former President of the Senate ,  Senator Abubakar Saraki emerged against the wish of President Muhammadu Buhari and other top party members .

“A repeat of that scenario , will no doubt cause the ruling party , APC a bad blood and should not be allowed .

“We therefore urge members of the National Assembly to vote the best among themselves to drive the 10th Assembly for growth and development of the country.”

However, as a group, it is our humble desire that the former Zamfara State Governor, Senator Abdulaziz Yari is considered for the seat of the Senate President , So, Nigerians can enjoy his wealth of experience and ability to deliver on promises.

10th NASS: Group lampoons Ndume over Yari’s bid

10th NASS: Group lampoons Ndume over Yari’s bid

A group under the auspices of Advocates of Good Governance has lambasted Senator Ali Ndume over comments that Senator Abdul’Aziz Yari has no competence but money to spend.

The group’s National Coordinator, Babagana Ibrahim and Secretary Bulus Joshua, in a media statement on Sunday, described Ndume’s reason for rejection of Yari’s candidature as “infantile, pedestrian and an embarrassingly unguarded outburst”.

The statement wondered why Senator Akpabio should hand over his campaign for the Senate Presidency to Ndume, “who, instead of articulating reasons why his candidate should be chosen, has resorted to personality attack.”

The group, in the statement, also expressed disgust over Ndume’s “dragging of Dangote and other Nigerian entrepreneurs, into a matter that has nothing to do with them, as they’re not politicians or elected Senators”.

Senator Ndume was widely reported by the media to have said if the battle for Senate Presidency was about money, “we could ask people like Dangote and Rabiu to come to preside over the Senate because they are not only rich in Nigeria but in Africa.” The group described the Dangote example as “another childish comment from a supposedly enlightened Senator of the Federal Republic. “

The group argued that the lawmaker was trying to divert attention away from the recent endorsement of Yari by a recognized group from his immediate constituency of the Northeast.

” We can imagine how shocked Senator Ndume was, due to the endorsement of Yari’s ambition by a registered and respected Northern Youth Unity Forum, led by Usman Alhaji Salihu, from Ndume’s Borno Constituency, recently”.

APC Chieftain, Eng. Kailani Urges Nigerians to be Patient With Tinubu On Fuel Subsidy Removal

APC Chieftain, Eng. Kailani Urges Nigerians to be Patient With Tinubu On Fuel Subsidy Removal

Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and National Chairman of Confederation of APC Support Groups, Engineer (Dr.)Kailani Muhammad has called on Nigerians to be more patience with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu over the removal of fuel subsidy, saying that the policy aimed at improving the wellbeing of Nigerians.

He said that the N12 trillion spent on subsidy in the last 4 years is more than sufficient to develop the 2,400 hospitals of 1000 bed capacity across the 774 Local Government Areas of the country.

The APC chieftain disclosed this at the weekend while addressing journalists in his Kaduna resident.

While speaking, he explained that with the fuel subsidy removal, government can easily provide 500,000 new houses to over 3.5 million Nigerians, just as he also said that the policy will pave way for the provision of 27GW of electricity generation in the country.

According to him, “subsidy removal creates a market reflective downstream which invariably stimulates more downstream investments especially in the domestic refining space, thereby creating more jobs, prosperity and growth.”

Kilani who was the National Coordinator of the TSN and National Chairman of Confederation of APC Support Groups, further said: ” the removal of fuel subsidy eliminates the unhealthy price arbitrage with neighboring countries, thereby preventing the diversion and smuggling of gasoline outside the Nations borders which bleeds our economy.

“It also reduces corruption surrounding internal product diversion as many marketers procure gasoline at subsidized regulated wholesale prices but still sell at deregulated retail prices.”

He however, said that with the fuel subsidy removal, it will creates an opportunity to redistribute this benefit directly to Nigerians in general.

” Another benefit of the fuel subsidy removal is that it will bring in more players, creates a more efficient market thereby reducing fuel scarcity and its adverse effects on the economy.

” Subsidy removal reduces the growing and unsustainable Budget deficit and consequently the debt burden and creating a more robust economic and sustainable future.

He therefore, urged Nigerians to support the government, adding that money generated from the removal of subsidy will be used for meaningful infrastructural development programmes which will be more beneficial to Nigerians and grow the economy

Ex Gov.Yari Remains our Best Choice for Senate President ,Confederation of APC Support Groups Insist

Ex Gov.Yari Remains our Best Choice for Senate President ,Confederation of APC Support Groups Insist

Confederation of All Progressives Congress Support Groups has insisted on the former Zamfara State Governor and Senator-Elect of Zamfara West Senatorial District , Distinguished Senator Abdul’aziz Yari Abubakar (Shattiman Zamfara) as its preferred choice for the highly coveted seat of President of the Senate.

According to the group, out of those who have signified interest to contest ,Yari remains the best with a vast political experience and base.

“Our group foresees a dogged fighter for democratic and social justice. We foresee a more harmonious legislative and executive relationship with Yari as Senate President because he served both ways and acquired the requisite experience. In terms of screening of competent nominees of the incoming president, we foresee the Senate .-and-go screening of presidential nominees.”

Briefing journalists in Kaduna during the  weekend on reasons they picked former Governor Yari ,the National Chairman of Confederation of the All Progressives Congress support groups, Engineer (Dr.) Kailani Muhammad the position of support groups is not with prejudice to the stand of the APC because the ruling party is also entitled to its opinion in a democracy, though massive protests against APC’s choice of Senate Presidency and Speakership are still raging in the media.

Kailani who recalled how President Tinubu scored a total of 8.79 million and  how the Northwest emerged topped with 30.0% votes cast in the entire presidential election, said , “Even President Tinubu’s immediate Constituency of South West came second with 25.9%.”

He explained: “The  North Central came third, with 20.0%, while the North East came fourth with 13.5%. The South South came fifth with 9.10%, while the South East came a distant sixth with a mere 1.45%. On the scale of electoral fortunes in that election, Yari’s Northwest beats all.”

However, the group urged the Vice President, Senator Kashim Shettima and other members of the executive arm of government as well as the party to avoid pitching tent with any candidate against the the wish of elected lawmakers.

He noted, Democracy is a game of number and choice of the majority .

…Read full address of National Chairman of Confederation of APC Support Groups,Eng. Kailani Muhammad during the Press Briefing

YARI IS OUR PREFERRED CANDIDATE FOR SENATE PRESIDENT

First, Yari is a candidate from the Northwest, with vast executive-cum-legislative experiences. Secondly, the North-west is on record to have provided the highest percentage of votes of over 30%, over and above every other geopolitical zone in the country.

Let us not forget that the president scored a total of 8.79 million. That was how the Northwest emerged tops with 30.0% votes cast in the entire presidential election. Even President Tinubu’s immediate Constituency of South West came second with 25.9%.

The North Central came third, with 20.0%, while the North East came fourth with 13.5%. The South South came fifth with 9.10%, while the South East came a distant sixth with a mere 1.45%. On the scale of electoral fortunes in that election, Yari’s Northwest beats all.

We still think Yari is the best among all the people in the race. Our position is not with prejudice to the stand of the APC because the ruling party is also entitled to their opinion in a democracy, though massive protests against APC’s choice of Senate Presidency and Speakership are still raging in the media.

I saw Southwest governors from Tinubu’s immediate Constituency, rejecting the APC stand. I saw Coalition of Northern Groups( CNG) warning against what they see as a direct imposition on the National Assembly. It is now very difficult to conclude that the APC’s final decision is popular enough.

It is on record that Yari has been in the APC for many years, and his membership predates the merger that led to the formation of the APC itself. Let us not forget that Yari was a powerful force since the era of ANPP. He was once a party Secretary that handled many internal crises in Zamfara State when the democratic space was seriously overheated.

He neutralized opposition and brought the party back to its feet. He calmed frayed nerves and made the party even stronger than it was before the internal wrangling. Please check your records and tell me when Senator Akpabio joined the APC; exactly how long? When did Senator Orji Uzor-Kalu joined the APC? You see, in politics, you cannot overlook how much input a loyal party member has made into the success of the party.

I dare say that Yari has spent hundreds of millions to support party activities and remains a one-man squad against hunger and poverty in Zamfara State, even after his exit as governor of the state. He was very generous to the poor people of his immediate constituency, and that is why he won the Senatorial election fair and square. I doubt if there is a strong basis of comparison between Yari and the duo of Akpabio and Uzor-Kalu.

The issue of first-time Senator being a backbencher has since been demystified by some senators in the outgoing Senate. Look at how a so-called first-timer, Senator from Kaduna Central, moved several motions and initiated over 30 bills in less than two years. There are many first-time Senators who made giant strides in their legislative activism. Most importantly, Senator Tambuwal from Sokoto, for instance, is first-time Senator today, but he was once a Speaker in the House of Representatives.

Again, our most-favored contestant —Abdul’Aziz Yari was an Honorable member of the House of Representatives and he is therefore not new to legislative business. That’s why our group remains unperturbed by the infantile argument of first-timer and old-timer Senators.

Well, as a group, we are looking at what the Constitution says as opposed to sentimental arguments of faith-based affinities. Nowhere in the entire Nigerian Constitution has religious affinity been mentioned as a point of consideration for any elective office. No political or even appointive office in Nigeria has anything to do with which religion you profess. What is abundantly clear in the Constitution is what geopolitical zone you belong to. There is no mention of Muslim or Christian affinities as a basis for the electoral contest.

Our group foresees a dogged fighter for democratic and social justice. We foresee a more harmonious legislative and executive relationship with Yari as Senate President because he served both ways and acquired the requisite experience. In terms of screening of competent nominees of the incoming president, we foresee the Senate .-and-go screening of presidential nominees.

BLEAK FUTURE OF NIS AFTER JERE’S REIGN

BLEAK FUTURE OF NIS AFTER JERE’S REIGN

…..How nepotism favor acting Comptroller General

By Our Correspondent

The much awaiting time to end former President Muhamadu Buhari administration has come to an end after relinquishing power to president Tinubu, whose election is one of the worst ever conducted in the history of Nigeria due to the alleged massive malpractices, vote-buying amongst numerous ground to cancel the election if thoroughly accessed. This election translate a pure step to what many pundits believed would remain the best cover to the failed Buhari-led government that negatively affect the lives of the populace who supported and patiently waited for the government for eight years of empty promised.

The Buhari outgone government handed over a seemingly dead government to a person who nurtured his ambition to be the president of Nigeria for donkey years, Mr. Tinubu, a pure- lagos born Yoruba opportune to be the leader of the country in one of the most controversial way, his emergence and declaration by INEC gingered the eye-service underperformed ministers of Buhari began lobbying from Lagosian to kith and kins of the president and to his fellow tribesmen, typical of that is the appointment of Wura-ola Caroline Adepoju as first female acting immigration comptroller General (NIS) following the expiration of the immediate comptroller general Isa Jere, who undoubtedly performed well through multiple drives that change the narrative of the service in terms of securing the national territorial boundaries, introduction of Digital service to eased the passport renewal/fresh application to a more functional institution that earn him multiple extension by former president Buhari to continue. This was done by the president and in accordance with the constitutional provision of the country. All of a sudden, the embattled former minister of interior Rauf Mr. Aregbesola solely before leaving office on Monday 29th May, 2023 through the Board coordinating civil defense, Correctional, Fire and immigration services, appointed Adepoju, former deputy general of the NIS as the new service head, disclosed in a released on Tuesday barely less than 24 hours to her stay in public service as enshrined in the constitution publically announced by Akinwale Dennis.

Some members of the Civil Defense, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) have faulted the appointment of DCG Adepoju Carol Wuro-Ola as the acting Comptroller General of the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) 24 hours to her retirement, which has exceeded to date because of the unholy arrangement planned by the minister whose tenure was allegedly characterized by corruption and nepotism to favor the Yoruba’s mindful of the constitutional rectitude.

Prior to this various civil society organizations, individuals and concern citizens openly expressed their displeasure on the Ex-minister who prefers discrimination not matter whose ox will be gored. Sadiq Mohamed, a member of the civil society organization said “ if board go ahead to extend tenure of someone that has initial less than 72 hour away from the time of her elevation just to please president Tinubu and his allies without looking at the prejudice to the national interest which is above everything, then Nigerians are in big trouble. DCG WURA ADEPOJU is not an exceptional person in the service that would be retain for ego as hundreds of junior and senior staff are in the queue to offer their contribution to the development of the country. If she over stays in the capacity, I bet you she will worsen everything the way Aregebesola dent the image of the NIS, she is bereave of ideas and a nepotic like the ex-minister. The few periods of her acting capacity signals incompetency and a vengeance-like approach in the leadership.

So the best thing, if she is Godly, she should vacate the office for those that have more time in the service to overhaul the entire system for good, because we can’t afford any cut and nail style of leadership in the name of tenure extension to favor any ethnic group. Does it mean we don’t have any competent ACG In the service even from the Yoruba or Igbo to be appointed CG except Mrs Adekpo? if yes let president Tinubu appoint from among the ACGs or DCGs to save Nigeria from the catastrophic plan of Aregbesola, he set up a trap to befall on innocent patriots and it shall not go well for him after vacating office as the worst interior minister produced in the country.
Similarly, the board members, who spoke to our correspondent on condition of anonymity, said at no point did the board meet to appoint DCG Wuro-Ola as the acting CGI of NIS.

The board members accused the immediate past Minister of Interior Mr Rauf Aregbesola of unilaterally making the appointment because she is a fellow tribe woman, Born in Ondo state on 13/07/1963. The acting DCG Wuro-Ola with number, 8384, is due to retire on Wednesday, May 31, 2023 having clocked 35 years in service which she joined 31/05/1988 to date.

Her appointment letter dated May 26, 2023 and signed by the secretary of the board, Ja’afaru Ahmed, reads: “I write to convey approval of the Chairman of the Board for you to cover duties of the Office of the Comptroller General, Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) as the most senior Deputy Comptroller General (DCG). See the list of current 2023 retirement list including the acting CG, as well as letter from the Immigration Services Board authorized by by the office of the secretary with the reference number: CDCFIB/APPPT.CGz&DCG/61/VOL.IV/97.
You are enjoined to bring to bear your wealth of experience on the job as well as Consolidate on the ongoing transformation of the Service.”
Efforts to get the former minister of interior, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Interior Mr Shuaibu Belgore and the Secretary of CDCFIB Mr Ahmed for comments proved abortive.

What many Nigerians who supported emergence of Tinubu is whether his government would do the needful to change the narrative of the institution compounded with numerous challenges Nigerians persistently experience and the relinquishing of the fellow tribe women to allow other deserving officers who has more time in the scheme to help in developing the country which is greater than individuals, lying emphasis on those that have more time to contribute not like the incumbent who is on unconstitutional staying in office, constituted authorities should hurriedly arrest her for over staying.
